Chapter 1 - Question #1 - Martha
The issues Wheelan touched on in Chapter 1 are issues I can remember and that have affected me on a personal level. Wheelan talked about the rise in gas prices in 2008, we can all remember 7th grade, but this summer I saw the prices climb the further south my family went on our way to Sanbel Island, Florida. Oddly enough Wheelan also talked about price discrimination, so is it price discrimination I saw on the way to Florida, and every time I go to Chicago, or is it only that way because it takes longer to transport the oil to the southern states?
