Response to #6 on Chapter 1:
This chapter was interesting to read and I'll just go right to the beginning because it peaked my interest. I will be honest im partially asleep so if some of this doesn't make sense please bare with me. So , it is discussed that the CEO of Coca-Cola gave away FREE Coke to people of East Germany. It was only a short time of doing so but it is odd to ever think if that was ever done to we'll say minnehaha academy, Coca-Cola would be drank all the time at school. Then all of a sudden they put a price on it, people would be used to drinking Coca-Cola for free they may just buy those soda's because that is all they really drank before. Back to Germany, after the east got all this Coca-Cola , not only was it now popular in the east part, it expanded to the west. Although Coke profit went down when they first gave it away, they eventually got that money back and made even more. It was a very strategic move and is interesting to think about.
