The introduction of Naked Economy by Charles Wheelan evocated in me many unspoken questions that I never talked about, neither thought about. For the last 16 years, growing up in a globalized society, I haven´t had the opportunity to face these major issues directly, yet. But as I am a part of my family, as a child, but also as a teenager, I am able to spot these, for me, unimportant indirect comments, which I usually don´t even understand. We have finally paid the loan for our apartment!, Sorry, but we aren´t able to buy you a new toy this month, sorry, we just can´t...And it goes on, all these indirect comments which always make me somehow uncomfortable. As I live with my family, these issues affect us all, but right now they are just floating throught my fingers, without some major notice. In the future, I will for sure be more concerned about my car, the loans, deliver of my future baby, insurance, unemployment, etc. However, right now I have a goal to look at economy differently than I did before, as something that affects our everyday life and we need to learn to control it in order to function properly.
