CHAPTER 6 QUESTION 2
The issues raised in chapter 6 directly affect my life. Human capital is what we all and always will struggle for. This is so because when you gain more and more human capital, you are essentially become more valuable to society. By being more valuable to society, you are more likely to get a higher paying job thus earning more money - and who doesn't want to earn more money? However, this also creates a very competitive aspect. An asset that assists human capital is productivity. When you are more productive, you gain human capital faster. Although, our world is sum what lacking in productivity and the reason being so is because of lack of education. We have so many brains in this world and it's unfortunate that they all aren't being put into good use. If we were eventually able to educate everyone, it's incredible to think about how far we would advance as a civilization.
