Chapter 9 ed

#6
A spacific passage in which I found intresting was where it talked about how the average American is five times as rich as he or she would would have been in the 40s on page 195. It gives a perfect example that made it easier for me to understand. " compare how long we had to work in 2000 to buy basic items with how long we had to work to buy the same iteam in 1990. As the officials at the Dallas fed example,'making money takes time. The real cost of living isn't measured in dollars and cents but in the hours and minutes we must work to live.'"
It then also talks about how stocking in 1990 were .25¢ but humans only maded 14.8¢ an hour, And today they are about $4.00 but the average we get paid is $13.00 an hour. This exmaple was also clear and it left me flabbergasted.
