CHAPTER 9 QUESTION 2
This chapter, compared to any other that we have read thus far, directly affects my life the most. The chapters central theme regarding the "Great Recession" hit very close to home. Although I knew a lot about the subject because well, I lived through it, I did enjoy learning other slivers of information regarding its affects on other countries. Also, the issue concerning social security will certainly affect my life in the future. I guess I hadn't really put much thought into the topic but whats going to happen when there are an abundant amount of elder people to take care of and only a small amount of young people to take care them? will the age of retirement be raised? Will the tax on social security be raised? Only time will tell.

Yeah Griffin I found a lot of interest in the social security topic, too. I think that sometimes the issue regarding old people and their effect of society isn't taken into consideration. I remember Rev. E told me that the old people are negatively affecting the economy, because of their retirement habits and expensive medical bills. I think it is unfair to not care for them, but what will we do to solve this?
