I knew nothing about Health Care. Jack Diddly squat.
"how can we make decisions when all we et to see is a book's cover." (105). The book describes how the health care system works and how messed up it is. If I could put it simply, its just confusing and muddled and there is a lot of potential for people to get cheated out from the health care system. Not just people but also insurance companies. You can never really see the full picture on something.
"McDonald's sells hamburgers, fries, and, most important, predictability." (118).
Its incredible to see how we think. I am the guy who goes to McDonald's on the daily. I know everything on the menu. I know what to expect and how I'm going to be treated. And to be honest, its not even that good. Branding is ridiculous if you think about it. "Nike clothes are not pieces of fabric sewn together by workers in Vietnam; they are Tiger Woods's clothes." (120). I buy Nike. I buy it. I will not buy a different brand like under armor because Nike is better... what I now know is that its just better at branding. I'm a brandaholic. The one brand that I discovered I love is Colombia. If I try to convince others that Colombia is great, they will combat it with North Face.. I understand the Chuck's Big Burger Restaurant's struggle now.
